A Formula Junior car is built from 1958 through 1963, conforming to the F.I.A.
Regulations of that time and to current Monoposto Racing Regulations.

The engine, including cyclinder head, must be of a type used in a car
classed by the F.I.A. in the touring category built before December 31, 1963. Number
and position of parts must be as the original touring car.

The gearbox must be that of an F.I.A. recognized touring car built before
December 31, 1963. Complete freedom is left with regard to the number and stagin of

c. |
Brakes must be original as specified by constructor for that model.
Updated brake systems acceptable if utilized by same constructor for late type Formula
Junior chassis (may change class).

d. |
The system and principle of aspiration must be the same as the car from
which the engine is taken.

e. |
The cylinder capacities specified int he regulations may be achieved only
by modifying the original bore.

f. |
The car must have an electric starter.
|
|
g. |
Wheels should be of original size. Non-original wheels must conform
to the general aesthetic outline of the vehicle

Tires
|
Rain tire not allowed. Additional grooving or hand cutting are not allowed.

To use an engine with one or more overhead camshafts.
|

b. |
To use a self locking torque biasing, limited slip or locking differential or any form
of locked axle.
|
|
c. |
To change the number of crankshaft bearings.
|
|
d. |
To change the location of the camshaft.
|
|
e. |
To modify the stroke.
|
|
f. |
To change the type or make of engine originally fitted.
|
|
g. |
To display any advertising decal other than the car manufacturer's official emblem, or
that of a series or race sponsor.

To change the location of the parts in the cylinder head.
